Lalbaugh Gardens :
This popular picnic spot was laid out by the two Mogul rulers Hyder Ali and his son, Tipu Sultan in the 18th century. This vast expanse of greenery is one of India's most splendid botanical gardens. A beautiful lake dotted with tiny picturesque islands within the garden adds to the charm and beauty of this garden.
The glass house in this garden holds flower shows in the month of January and August.
